The College Group encompasses a diverse range of courses, from vocational training and apprenticeships to A-levels and higher education degree programmes in partnership with top universities. As part of our new structure we are recruiting for one Marketing Officer, to be based at at our Basildon campus. This is an exciting and dynamic position that plays a crucial part in promoting the college and enhancing its reputation. We are looking for an energetic individual who can implement innovative marketing strategies to increase student recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing digital and traditional marketing campaigns, producing engaging content to showcase our courses and activities across social media and the college website, and execute impactful email marketing initiatives. The role will work closely with the events and admissions teams to engage enquirers through to enrolment through school and conversion events, including open and taster days, ensuring brand consistency across all marketing materials. As a graduate in a relevant field, you will have proven experience in a marketing role, preferably within the education sector. The ideal candidate will be a natural communicator, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational and project management abilities, and a creative and innovative mindset. You will be passionate about building relationships with our teaching and support teams and bringing out positive stories about our courses and facilities to grow student recruitment and foster strong community relationships. The role will be based at your college campus for two days a week, with one day at Southend and one day working from home - and includes occasional evening and weekend work for events.
