Lecturer, Part Time, Travel and Tourism. Thurrock Campus
We are seeking a proactive and motivated individual to join the Department of Service Industries which has an expanding Travel and Aviation Curriculum area. The successful applicant will have industry experience and will teach across a range of awarding bodies. Candidate will need to hold a Level 2 & 3 in crew/aviation. They will also have had a minimum of 3 years industry experience.
Qualified teacher with past experience of teaching in FE. Excellent communication skills and ability to use tracking systems. Must have experience in travel and tourism industry.
The Lecturer will be responsible for supporting positive behaviour and attendance of cohort working with other members of the team and NOK.
The post holder will ensure the needs of our learners come first and that every learner will be provided with opportunities to achieve their full potential within a safe, stimulating and supportive environment.
You will be required to deliver high quality teaching and learning and you are expected to develop appropriate teaching techniques and materials which enable all learners to achieve their full potential and take account of educational initiatives.
Campus base: Thurrock
3 Days a week = 22.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

We are looking for a motivated and suitably qualified individual to join our dynamic team as a Early Years setting work place Assessor
This is a part time position, working 22.5 hours per week.We can be flexible around any care commitments.
You will hold demonstrable industry competence in the early years field, and hold a minimum level 3 in early years qualification, along with an assessors award. You should have the ability to encourage and inspire young people due to the experience that you have in this industry.
We are looking for someone with enthusiasm, passion and a vibrant personality that can motivate our young students and provide high quality assessment & support. A driving licence would also be preferable due to the industry placement locations but is not essential.
This role is based from our Southend City College.

Reporting to a designated Deputy College Principal, you will be developing and co-ordinating high quality industry placement opportunities for learners on 16-19 study programmes. You will be generating new placement opportunities, as well as being the key point of contact for employers, whilst they host a student on placement. This role requires liaison with learners, employers and curriculum staff.
