  • Advert Text We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Lecturer to join our dynamic School of Creative and Performing Arts. This exciting role involves teaching across Levels 2 and 3, with potential additional hours within our Higher Education provision. The focus of the role is to develop students’ acting skills, deepen their understanding of the performing arts, and support their progression into higher education or employment. As Course Leader for Level 3 Performing Arts – Acting, you will oversee course planning, delivery, and assessment, as well as act as a personal tutor, providing academic and pastoral guidance to students. A key aspect of the role includes leading and directing end-of-year showcases and productions, offering students the chance to perform in professional-standard performances and gain valuable industry experience. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience teaching Performing Arts, particularly acting, with a proven ability to engage and inspire learners across multiple levels. Experience in acting for TV and Film production is desirable but not essential, supporting our commitment to preparing students for performance across both stage and screen. Strong organisational and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to foster an inclusive, creative, and motivating learning environment. In addition to teaching and directing, you will contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and enrichment activities, helping to shape the school’s Performing Arts provision.
