• Advert Text South Essex College is the largest provider of technical and vocational education and training for 16-18 year olds, adults and apprenticeship provision within Essex – and we are growing! The main responsibilities of this role are to provide work based assessment, coaching & support to apprentices to enable them to fulfil their course requirements including End Point Assessment. The post holder will be supporting Apprentices working towards the Plumbing & Domestic Heating standard along with other skills, knowledge and behaviours that are developed. Assessors will work with apprentices in both group and individual basis. This interaction with apprentices will take place at the apprentices workplace and vocational campus. This role also requires good communication skills across all departments and including the apprentices employer. Under the Health & Safety etc. at Work Act 1974 it is the responsibility of individual employees at every level to take care of their own health and safety at work and that of others who may be affected by their acts at work. The College is committed to the safeguarding of all its students, staff and visitors and provides a safe physical environment.
